How Bravo came to control almost 10 thousand pieces of equipment across 18 units

More visibility for an operation that never stops growing: spreadsheets, manual logs, and decentralized controls have given way to a traceable digital history.

BEFORE THE GAP

The challenge

In the logistics sector, ensuring standardized inspections across units distributed throughout various regions is a major challenge. For Bravo Serviços Logísticos — with 28 years in the market and 18 Distribution Centers —, this challenge increased after a period of rapid expansion.

Over the last ten years, the company expanded its structure, units, and the quantity of equipment under the responsibility of HSE. With the centralization of asset management, it became essential to digitize information and integrate the operation, allowing for remote monitoring and control.

Dependency on spreadsheets and manual records hindered corporate management, reduced traceability, and compromised reliability during audits. More than just digitizing inspections, Bravo needed a platform that guaranteed operational visibility, the execution of inspections on the frontline, and reliable information for management and audits.

“Before, we had little visibility into what was being done at the branches. Our greatest difficulty, as corporate (HSE), was having a more macro view of the operation: knowing if procedures were being followed, if checklists were being completed, and how the equipment control was going.”

WHAT CHANGED IN PRACTICE

Main results

The gain in visibility brought results that directly affect business continuity, requiring much less bureaucratic effort from the team:

  • End of idle fleets: fire extinguisher management eliminated the chronic problem that previously caused up to 200 vehicles to be blocked from loading due to expired items.

  • Excellence in audits: consistently scoring above 90 in monthly HSE audits in the warehouses, eliminating issues with poorly completed checklists.

  • Focus on prevention: blitz routines targeted at forklifts, pallet jacks, and transport safety, actively working to reduce accidents.

  • Reduction of hidden costs: by anticipating maintenance, preventive action helps mitigate corrective expenses that could reach up to R$ 500,000 annually.

The transition to digital management

Before the implementation of the platform, a large portion of the equipment distributed among the branches was out of corporate management's visibility. Each unit had its own controls, making it practically impossible to monitor the status of the operation in real time.

By scanning the QR Code attached to the asset, management now has the guarantee that the inspector actually went to the site to fill in the data. Automatic notifications and expiration alerts have transformed the routine, ensuring a 100% predictable and traceable operation for any auditor.

IMPLEMENTED MODULES

The GAP solution

Bravo's operational turnaround began with the implementation of GAP Sistemas' Equipment and Inspection Management module. The initial need was to organize and gain visibility into safety and protective inspections, but the tool's flexibility allowed its use to grow.

Today, the platform centralizes HSE routines, asset security, quality processes, warehouse inspections, and maintenance workflows all in one place.

Impact of the Partnership

The journey of Bravo Serviços Logísticos shows that digitalization does not mean simply "abandoning paper", but protecting the continuity of the operation.

By gaining visibility over virtually all equipment distributed among its 18 units, the company strengthened its HSE governance, increased the reliability of audits, and began making decisions based on updated and traceable information.

Today, the operation works preventively, with greater control, safety, and confidence to sustain its growth.
